Verizon's local websites usually have links to pdf files indicating expected installation plans (for a 1-2 month period. Unfortunately, it won't tell you WHEN you will appear on the list, but you can see IF you are on the list for the immediate future.
As an example here is the Verizon Virginia website.
...and it has a link titled: September / October FTTP Construction Locations which takes you to a pdf list of all of the streets in VA where they will be installing FIOS in Sept/Oct.
I would imaging there is a simiilar site and link for YOUR state.
