Since we converted from DSL to FiOS and added TV, I notice several networks on my home LAN in addition to my 192.168.1.x. I also see 169.254.1.x, 076.165.085.x, 061.161.081.x, 204.074.404.x, 213.135.x and others.
I use a Netgear wireless router with all settings default from factory (except login, obviously).
Shouldn't I see only my 192.168.1.x addresses? Why do I see so many nets (using a Fluke One-Touch Network Analyzer)? I thought FiOS was a routed service (not a bridged service), meaning I should not see other networks in front of my router. The addresses shown above are all downstream from my router. Are these BOTS, or legitimate addresses Verizon is setting up between our 4 TV boxes?
