router question

I recently ordered fios internet. My current set up at home is three computers plus a direct tv DVR that are all connected via a wired router and ethernet cables. I understand that fios comes with a wireless router. My questions are..... can I opt for a wired router instead of wireless? If I can't then how do I connect my wireless network to the various devices I have? Thanks....

The wireless routher that I have is also capable of accepting ethernet cables.

I am assuming you will be getting the Actiontec?
