Connecting Q-SEE Security DVR to Actiontec MI424WR. R-D

Does anyone know how to config. the port forwarding for Q-SEE QS206 16 port DVR? no matter what I try can not get the parts to pass through. keep failing.. Also when I uses the Simple Port Tester it fails for ports 80, 9000 and 100... Any ideas ? Anyone know how to get the DVR working on Verizon MI424WR R-D ?

CAM-Q-SEE,

Have you tried it by putting it into DMZ to see if it works? If it does not work there then there may be something wrong with your equipment. If it works but your are still not able to set it up directly then we can call you and bridge you on with actiontec.

how do i acces the DMZ settings?!?!?!?

You can find the DMZ Setting at http://192.168.1.1/ by logging in with the username of admin, password being the router's serial number found on the bottom front sticker of the router. Click Firewall settings, and from there on the left hand side navigation you'll find the DMZ option.

I do advise using the DMZ on a temporary basis, since it forwards everything to your security system. You'll want to use it for troubleshooting purposes only.
