How to get email addresses back

Hello,

We just moved, and in the move we switched from DSL to FIOS. The email addresses we used were sub accounts, and I was hoping that after the service was shut off, which was today, that I could just recreate those sub accounts on our new FIOS account. When I tried, it said the names were not available. Does Verizon suspend those names after they are shut off? Will Verizon free up those names for me if I call them? Who would I call, if so? These addresses are pretty important. One of them is used for my businesses.

Nevermind, I made a call to tech support and they got me taken care of very quickly. If anyone else has this question, tech support will put in a ticket to have the transfer done and it takes about 48 hours. They also enable the email addresses temporarily so that they can be transfered, which also allows you to use them during the time it takes to get the transfer done. It was quick and easy to have done. Thank you, Verizon.
