3-4 weeks to upgrade my STB

Help! After the third call asking where my HD STB was, I was told it will not ship for another two weeks - making me wait for almost a month to upgade my new LCD to a HD box for a digital converter. HUH? Any ideas on who I can call - other than my past cable company to switch?
