Hi d-man,
Log into your router through IE with 192.168.1.1, use admin for the username and password1 for the password (ignore the extra dots when typing the password).
Once inside, the ip address should be listed under router status on the front page.
cant figure out how to set router
when i test web site from dns server it fails yet on the local network it works is this a problem with port forwarding or do i also need a port trigger
just trying to set up a family accessable web site that does not have memory constraints and that i have full control over
First of all, the method I gave will show your WAN (Internet) ip address.
Second of all, if you are trying to host a web page, port 80 (http) is blocked on Verizon's server for residential accounts, you will need a business account to be able to host a web page.
