Reinstall Operating System

My computer was repaired and the operating system reinstalled. Is it necessary to reinstall FIOS software. If so, can that be done by me, or does it require a technician to come to house ? Thank you

The software is not needed to connect to the internet. If you want the FiOS software, it can be found at http://activate.verizon.net

Click on "I ordered Verizon FiOS Internet Service." Then on the next screen, click "Configure additional PC or reinstall software", enter Username and Password, and continue onward....

And you do need the software, if you connect the Cat5 (Blue network) cable to your PC it will just grab you IP, and you will be set to go.

You do not need the FiOS software to connect to the internet...you need DRIVERS for your wired/wireless ethernet adapter obviously...but there is no FIOS software that "gives you the internet".
