You can forward the text messages to your email address - if you need the date, time, and sender info you'll have to add that to the forwarded text.

You can look at your incoming calls after about 24 hours, and see the numbers, if the call was not restricted or blocked on the caller's end. There should also be a record on the phone of the numbers for incoming (received) calls. Since you said "figure out the number", it sounds like the call said restricted or unavailable - and if that's the case, then the number will not show up online either.

You can pay for a service like Trap Call (use google to find out more) to find out who is behind the blocked calls.
