FiOS in Grand Island NY

Hello all,

I was just wondering if anyone has heard any "soft dates" or "estimates" on when FiOS Internet will be availbe in Grand Island NY, I've heard its availible right across the river in the cities of Tonawanda and N. Tonawanda. DSL just isn't cutting it anymore and an upgrade is going to be needed soon, I shudder to think I may be forced into using Timer Warner service.

I grew up on Grand Island...say hi to my folks...I haven't heard of any recent updates with Fios on the Island. I believe they are going to continue on the mainland. Parts of Buffalo, south Buffalo, Tonawanda, Kenmore and maybe some more of Amherst. I wasn't aware they hit NT yet. It will get there eventually.

I think amherst is done. I see signs all over the place for fios was installed.

There is a post on DSLreports called More Verizon FiOS available in Buffalo,NY...Bignet and others have been doing a pretty good job keeping us up to date
