Apparently the $15 data plan for smartphones will soon be coming to an end. It's all over the internet that Verizon will be dropping the $15 smartphone plan in favor of a single, $30 unlimited plan, and also a $10 plan for feature phones. If I were to upgrade now and select the $15 data plan would I be grandfathered in once the plan was discontinued? I would prefer to wait until the iPhone 4 or 5, but I really don't want to pay $30.
