Incoming Calls Interrupt Web Conference

When I receive an incoming call on my Fios phone while I'm participating in an online conference via Fios Internet, the sound to the online conference is disconnected and it takes a long time to get re-connected. The online conference is connected via the web, not the phone. The visual stays active, but the sound is disconnected.

What can I do to stay connected when calls come in?

Shouldn't happen with FIOS.

What type of ONT. Is this a Multi-dwelling unit? May be missing filters in such cases.

Single dwelling. Web conference is via WebEx. Don't know what "ONT" stands for.

ONT: Optical Network Terminal. This is the box that connects the fiber to your home. It converts TV signals from Optical to Coax. Problems with Ont's could be causing your problem but they have many models. KNowing which one could help your Peers in suggesting solutions. I don't remember someone one mentioning your problem, but thought it was one of the Multi-dwelling ONT's.

Are you using Wireless between the router and your computer, and is your phone a cordless phone operating in the 2.4Ghz bands?

Doesn't hurt to try an ONT reboot, if you haven't already.
