Does the upgraded DVR only have higher storage capacity or does it also allow to record and watch more than 2 channels at once?
The highest DVRs still only record 2 channels at a time.
They have 500Gb of storage plus the ability to add external storage.
And if you currently have a 6416 you also get an HD guide with the upgrae.
Verison has shown a new system that is supposed to field sometime this year that will support more channels.
Also get MPEG-4 channel capability. If you currently have any mpeg-4 channels in your subscribed list you should have no trouble at all getting them to give you a free upgrade.
