HD channels cause TV to black out for a few seconds and then come back on

I have a problem when watching the HD TV channels on Fios. Anytime I watch an HD channel occasionally and random the TV will black out and then come back on in a second or 2? It only happens on the HD channels because I have checked and paid attention on the regular channels and it don't do it. This just started within the last few months and I have had Fios for a couple of years? Any reason why this happens only on HD and when I DVR shows on HD it is recorded and does it!

there is a video setting that may fix that. try it and let us know.

Menu>settings>video settings>SD OVERRIDE = OFF

turn it off OR if it's already off, then that means the box doesn't like the setting, and then try 480i. most likely it's 480i or p and turning it off would help. let your TV manage the SD settings instead of the cable box.
