Can't access personal web space from new Verizon web site

I have had a web site on Verizon server since 2004. I cannot find out how to access this site to make revisions, changes, etc. since Verizon changed their main web page. Phone support was not able to help.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, please tell me how I can access my web site on the Verizon server.

I am having the same problem! Unfortunately, don't have an answer but will be looking for replies from someone who may be able to help.

I am writing to say that I have the same problem. Tried to use their technical support, who were unable to help me. They referred me to a technical support number that put me on hold forever. To find it, I use the search function that pulls up a question page with an embedded link....hardly an efficient process.

when you login in

it's located under my services

internet

security and free tools

and then you will see a link for personal webspace

and then select site builder

I tried this, but the link to the Web Site Builder is broken! (Yes, I turn off my browser popup blocker!) This is hopeless! Verizon... shame on you for all the frustration your web builder page is causing. If it is still a feature of your service, then fix it so people can use it. If it's no longer available, then say so and take down all the information you have up showing what it can do and how to access it, then breaks when people try to use it.

Or at least allow us to transfer files to/from to file space via FTP!

I try to locate my webspace, but not to avail, I cannot find it,is just like looking for my webspace in the Sahara desert.

and when it comes to send an email to Verizon about this,is really a pain on my neck;there is nothing on the subject

that match that problem, all I need is link,once I get a link to access my webspace I will bookmark it

1. Login to MyVerizon = http://entertainment.verizon.com/ or https://www22.verizon.com/myverizon

2. sign in

3. a. Select "My Verizon" in the horizontal red toolbar then "Manage My Internet" in the 2nd column OR
b. Select "MyServices" and then "Internet" from the left hand vertical menu

4. Select "Manage" button next to "Security and Free Tools"

5. Then select "Personal Web Space"

i have on the ph. for 4 hours today and cannot believe no one has an answer.

used to change web site with ftp? now site builder is king of **bleep**. no way to find working site and no way of changing it.

i have been to india 4 times and to 6 different ph. #'s and no glory.

these people don't even know who ivan sidenburg is????

there is no glory in this company any more ..... GOD HELP US ALL.

FTP was discontinued in August of 2011. I would suggest this thread for information on having your old site deleted.

Ivan stepped down as CEO in July of 2011, and retired in December of 2011.

Considering the normal turnover rate in call centers, I can't say I'm surprised the agents don't know about two year old information.

I can no longer access my personal web space either. It says Forbidden You don't have permission to access /ressev7y/ on this server.

I tried contacting customer service and no one could help. It worked fine up until Sept or Oct when it suddenly gave me that denial. I've have been using this sight for probably 10 or more years. It shows I am using 51% of my MB space.

This problem has resurfaced in a slightly different form. I have been using the procedure outlined in previous message (MyVerizon > Internet > Manage > Edit my web site) but starting sometime between 10 and 17 November 2013 the "My Verizon" and "Internet" tabs return only voice telephone items - nothing about my Internet service though I have Verizon high-speed internet (DSL). And I *do* have it: I'm writing this, aren't I?

The problem may be individual (their database is hosed concerning my services) or general (nobody with DSL, or nobody at all, is getting Internet management tab when they request it). I wish someone would research this at Verizon; telephone help (not "technical help" - they're closed) tried but couldn't even contact anyone with answers.

I'll try the tech support phone number again, but hope is dim and not a strategy, anyway.

I know this doesn't apply to the current problems people are having, but just some good info going forward Effective March 15, 2014, Verizon will stop provisioning Personal Web Space (PWS) for new customers and remove any access to the Sitebuilder tool for existing customers. Email notifications, to impacted customers, will begin November 19, 2013 to ensure customers have time to take appropriate actions Please Note: All Webspace pages will be permanently deleted as of September 30, 2014
