Unable to redeem gift card

Every time I try and register for my 60+ days $50 e-gift card from Verizon (at https://rewards.verizon.com/home/) I get the following message:

"Our apologies. Due to a system issue, your registration was not successful. Please try again later."

Can someone please help?
