Can't remotely log into security camera DVR from westell 9100 router

I have a open eye 8 channel DVR, and a westell 9100 router. I was able to do the port forwarding but the router is restricting the port. I tried switching to a different port. Tech support for the DVR says everything is good on this end. I can log into my cameras through my network but not remotely. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
