Removal of outside pole owned by Verizon

Hello,

We had the electric company come and add a new pole/adjusted wires next to the existing pole that was tagged as nonfunctional. It was not removed, we were told Verizon needs to do this and move the wires. Not only is it an eyesore to have two poles right in the front of our yard, but it also is a hazard as it does not look super sturdy (which is why they put in a new one).

How do we get this resolved in a timely fashion?

This unfortunately is the process for a joint use pole. After the electric company places new pole and transfers then cables then verzion and the cable company moves their cables. Honestly unless it's a car accident and hanging by a thread it probably won't be very timely because as the pole may not be safe to climb but it's not going anywhere since it's connected to the telco cable. You can try calling Verizon but it is handled internally be the utility companies.
