I have a line that in very low hanging in my backyard from the telephone pole, called National grid they said its not a power line but in fact its a telephone line/wire drooping very low (less than 6' to ground) down from the telephone pole. my kids playset is right near where the line is hanging and I get worried they may be able to reach out and touch it and get hurt. There was no issue with this before the recent wind/rain storms but now I am concerned with it as the power company said they are not responsible for it. I really would like to get this fixed but nobody says they are responsible... What can/should I do now?
