This is billing question mainly, which I'm sure no one likes seeing clogging the forums, but I'm hoping someone will have some advice.
I realized last week that I have been billed for four months for FIOS/phone at the address that I moved away from! I have contacted Verizon, and apparently when I discussed moving with them 4 months ago, an official stop service was not requested, and I needed to call back again once I had moved. I forgot to do that, and when inquiring about my return label for the router (which I also believed they committed to sending, but had not because my service was still active), I realized what had happened.
I know I am largely to blame for not having noticed sooner, but I feel frustrated that I appartently can not reach out to anyone at VZ for help. Both billing through (1-800-VERIZON) and email to customer support, through the website, ended with them stating there was nothing more they could do.
Does anyone have any further advice regarding new ways to contact VZ, or alternatives about renegging auto-bill payments? Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm still hopeful that this can be resolved amicably.
