Is 720 the only HD format for FIOS TV? My TV cvan do 1080 but it doesn't seem to have that on fios
No. Some HD channels are 1080I and some 720P. SD channels are 480i but often shown as 480p.
You have the option to set to Native video (a little tricky to do on Motorolas), 720p or 1080i. To switch to 1080i select menu/settings/video settings/video format.
