I am extremely disappoinbted with several aspects of the DVR Exchange Program. I am sure someone in Verizon felt there was a business case for the change out, but as usual the needs of the consumer were not considered - at least not all of them. Back in April, we received an E-mail that to accomodate planned changes in channelization we would have to exchange our current DVR's.
Couple of things:
No one told us in advance that to make this change we would automatically lose all of the programs we had taped to to watch later! What happened to the all mighty server in the cloud that was suppose to retain that stuff?
The other complaint why did they change the size factor of the replacement units? Now I have to get a new table-top unit to hold the DVR and Blue-Ray, - whereas they previously just fit in the space.
I don't know who planned this project but they need to take a couple courses in customer focus.
