If you have the Motorola 7232-2 DVR and P265v3 remote the buttons around the blue DVR button controls those features.
The button directly under the blue DVR is for play/pause. Play on top, pause on bottom.
The << and >> (FF and REW) buttons work as you would expect.
The cureved arrow buttons are for short jumps back or forward. The times are programmable in the Menu settings.
If you have other models please provide your DVR model # and your remote model #. That will enable someone to provide an answer specific to your equipment.
