dvr deleted movie without permission

Recently my dvr did something rather curious which I hope is not something Verizon is purposefully doing.

I recently recorded the transformers trilogy. I was ready to watch Revenge of the Fallen when I saw it wasn't in my dvr. But the third film Dark Side of the Moon was still saved. I looked at my recent deleates and saw no one deleted it. so i search for Revenge of the Fallen again to record it again, and lo and behold, I find it only available for Flex View now, which means id have to pay to see it! Not coincidently, Dark Side of the Moon is not on Flex view, but can now be seen on demand for free. Anyone else experience this?

Possibility #1

If you check your All Activities folder, it should list the deleted movie along with a reason for its deletion (probably to make room). To prevent this from happening, remember to protect your recordings by selecting the "Save until I delete" option and making sure a shield symbol appears beside the program.

Possibility #2

If you have an expansion drive, you may need to make sure it is attached and working properly.
