I was given an HD TV for Christmas. I upgraded my service to HD and picked up an STB at a Verizon Experience store. I now can't change my HD TV service for 10 days after I picked up my STB. This is just stupid. I am currently planning on canceling FiOS TV. I must say, I've had problems with the Internet service over the years, but never as bad as this.
I don't know how a company as big and as profitable as Verizon can continue to have such bad customer service.
I have stopped calling because it was just causing me to lose sleep and miss work.
So, when I return my equipment do I get to charge them a $70 delivery fee?
Grrrr....
