Verizon numbers?

Is there a way to show on your phone if a number is on the verizon network?  With all of the cell phones out there and different networks, I was wondering if there was a program to DL to your phone that shows what network the number (incoming or outgoing) is subscribed to.

Here is a link that you an use to see if a mtn (mobile telephone number) is m2m (mobile to mobile):

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/splash/mobiletomobile.jsp, on the left hand side click on the red tab, Find Out Now. Hope this helps! I think it just tells you if its a verizon number.
