Pop ups on your TV? Pretty sure you can disable such notifcations in the settings.

I agree very strongly with your post. Those ads interfere with everything else I wish to do when I am on the site. Maybe if I pay for there ntivirus software [ ripoff ] it will prevent thos PopUps.

Web browser pop ups? Did you mistake of intalling the verizon Toolbar. Disable it.

While there are steps you can take to decrease how much advertising you get, there is currently no way to completely opt out of the on-screen ad pop-ups. These are steps that will help:

Menu > Settings > Television > Recommendations > Turn Off > OK

Menu > Settings > Television > Promotions > Disable > OK
