Digital STB doesn't display time nor channel

I just upgraded to the QIP 7100 2 and can't figure out how to get either the time or channel to display on the front of the unit. My older STB that was replaced, did so. When I pressed menu/settings, I checked all the options under Settings, but there's nothing to get this info to display on the STB.

What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything "wrong". It just isn't available on that box.

Hello,

As jackmcgann had stated, the Motorla 7100-P2 model of the regular STB with HD-capability does not have a clock display. The 7100-P2 is a smaller, lighter, sleeker, more 'eco-friendly' STB compared to the silver Motorola 7100-P1 model.
