Anyone experiencing problems with caller ID on their TV sets?
We were unable to correct the problem through troubleshooting. Verizon tech was also unable to correct it. This morning I got a call ftrom Verizon telling us that they had found a problem on their end and corrected it. So it is now working again. We have found that usually if caller ID stops working, it will return without doing anything.
I like it because I can not answer the phone if I do not recognize the caller.

What kind of problems? I have had it working pretty much flawlessly for several years, but a week or two ago I did experience one call where the Caller ID pop-up never appeared on the TV at all. Calls that day both before and after that one call displayed just fine. I have no idea why that one call failed, or of course whether there may have been other failures at other times.
Have you tried the Caller ID TroubleShoot dialog under InHomeAgent in the Customer Support area of the Menu? Whatever problem you are experiencing, it might help.

Justin, I have seen a call come in with no caller id information too, and it was clearly spoofed caller id call. When I answered it was a telemarketer. Spoofing caller id is against the law but they do it all the time.

Glad it is working again. I agree, I have had Caller ID since the very beginning and along the way, occasionally it has quit working at all, and I have always just waited a day or two and it has started working again. Just one of life's little mysteries I guess.....
Yea my AT&T cell phone will not send it to my Media Center PC.
