Rebooted my box and it deleted all of my recordings!

I was trying to play a recording and the box froze. I had no choice but to unplug it an plug it back in. When the box rebooted, all of my recordings and scheduled recordings were gone. I did a soft reboot through the "Auto-fix MRDVR" menu and they are still not there. I chose "Refresh Devices" from the menu and it's been stuck on there for 10 minutes now. I tried to download the "In HOme Help Agent" and the web site got stuck in a permanent refresh loop. Help, please!!

Should still be there, but possibly your HARD DISK is not working.

As TNS suggests, it sounds that your problem originated prior to re-booting the device, and that re-booting had no direct effect on your recordings. IOW, the "source" of your playback, the HDD in the STB, may have failed.

One check that's still possible is to go into the STB menu and under the DVR section, check the capacity of the disk in the STB. If it is working and somehow your recordings actually did disappear (which is not exactly common), then you should see that you have 100% of the space free.
