Problem 1.

I tried going to the "secret menu" but I am unable to edit it.

Problem 2.

Not getting Dolbly Digital 5.1 via Optical or Coax when hdmi is used. Is this a known problem?

Anyone else having these issues?

Is the secret menu editable?

Not to sound rude, but is there a reason why you started a new thread on this topic when you already have one going? You'll get more help sticking to one.

The hidden menu is not editable and there is no reason to edit anything in it anyways.

The only setting you need to change is in the basic menu of the stb. menu > settings > audio
