Hi All, my router LAN OR WAN PORT LIGHT IS OFF AFTER A RESTART INSTRUCTION AND NOT MAKING THE COMPUTER TO CONNECT TO INTERNET I HAVE RESTARTED the router severally but the light is still off and making use of the ethernet cable or port impossible
PLZ SOME 1 HELP ME . THANKS
Im right there with you man. i am having the same issue, it just started about 2 days ago, i get like 5-10 minutes of choppy connection then it turns off and i have to restart my router just to get another 5-10 minutes. it is VERY frustrating. im wondering if its a company wide issue with particular routers
Just so I understand what the deal is, please clarify:
1: Is the Ethernet port you're talking about concerning the connection between your PC and the router? For example, is the PC connected to one of the ports 1-4, and the light is not coming on indicating a link?
2: This problem occurs after a factory reset of the router?
3: Does your router have an Ethernet cable plugged into the "Internet" or "WAN" port of the router? This is the port that is separate from the other four ports on the router. If yes, what is at the other end of the cable?
i just talked to verizon, they said there was an outage on their servers and should be back up and running in about 2 hours

If all your router lights are off your router or router power supply is DEAD
Contact Verizon via customer support to obtain a replacement.
