Really it should not be this difficult to figure out why the DCT 700 will not turn on. The remote only works the TV. This is not a new set up, no problems before and I have been all over this site trying to resolve it
What type of remote do you have. 4 button or 2 button?
Do you have any other stbs? Does the remote in question work with them?
Do remotes from other STBs work on the 700?
