I've been a longtime FIOS customer. Unfortunately, my DVRs often get full since they are the old ones with smaller hard drives and they don't accept external hard drives. They only hold about 20 hours of HD programming. My son just got FIOS at his new house and he got a much larger DVR (at no additional cost). I can't believe it's going to cost me $100 to upgrade my 2 DVRs.
I tried the online chat to see if I could bring my DVRs into a Verizon store to exchange them for newer models but was told I couldn't. It would actually be cheaper for me to cancel my Verizon service and then sign up again as a new customer. How ridiculous is that?
I think it's ridiculous that I'm paying the same monthly rate as other customers who got the better box. Why am I being punished for being a longtime customer? I'm getting ripped off here...this is not right!!!!
Not a good way to treat customers. NOT HAPPY WITH VERIZON AT ALL!!!!
