Can't text to Google Voice Number

Hello,

I am unable to get any text messages through to a google voice number. It just stopped working all of a sudden, after having no problems for months. I think maybe Verizon is now blocking the number, because they may think it's a landline when it's not. How can I resolve this?

Does the error message tell you it's a landline? Is there any error message at all? I text to my son's Google voice number, which he has linked to his iPhone (just exchanged messages with him this morning, actually) and have had no problems.

Are you using the full 10-digit number, with no leading "1"?

I'm not getting an errors on my end, and no numbers are blocked as far as I can tell. I am not including the 1 in front of the 10 digit number when I send them. I have been sending him messages for months and it just stopped working all of a sudden... totally clueless as to why.
