Recently called to see if I could get a lower priced subscription, with no intention of adding to my services. The sales person on the phone found me a package that saved me a few dollars, and asked me to check it out. So, I agreed. The next day, I got the email with the new details, and was asked to confirm the new package. However, I never had the chance to reiew or confirm - as I was signed up for the package the very same day. As it turned out, I never had a chance to review or confirm the new deal. In fact, they installed my new services with no confirmation - is that legal?
Now, I see why the sales person bum rushed me. There was a new deal significanly less than the 'upgraded' deal I got - which would have saved me much more money. Funny how the sales rep never mentioned that to me on the phone.
And, I got locked into a 24 month plan. The same deal was offered on a month to month. Funny, didn't mention that to me either.
And, since the system 'magically'confirmed me before I had a chance to review the details, now I can't even cancel the service (whcih I dont' want, and dont need)
Thanks alot Verizon - great focus on the customer.
Worse - I've called twice and never had anything resolved. Last time I called the agent promised to call me back - never happend.
I've been a loyal customer for years, and am upset they won't give me the same deal a new customer would get.
Thansk again Verizon - super customer service.
Can't wait to find a reslution here. Wonder if anyone will respond.
