Can someone tell me why programs like The Walking Dead air 3 hours later on Verizon than on Direct tv? I do enjoy Verizon more than Direct tv for a few reasons, but this reason really bothers me and I don't see the reason for it.

Not sure where you are located. DirecTv may be using the eastern feed for the channel even for those in the West.
FYI Verizon does not determine what time shows play. The content provider determines that.
The content provider is AMC and that wouldn't explain why it airs 3 hours later on Verizon (6:00 pm) than on Direct TV (9:00 pm).
I'm going to guess it has something to do with the contract between Verizon and AMC.

That would imply the reverse. DirectTv later than Verizon. Did you just switch them by mistake.
