Do I have a wire less modem

I'm conneted via phone to cable internet service and pluggged in to the system via my laptop.My wife who is in the other room has an apple ipad and would like to connect to my verizon system via wireless. I have gone to all the help screen in "Ask Verizon" and can't find an answer. 4" x 4" black model box with no antenna on it.

Am I setup for wireless/ If no, what do I need?

What is the exact model number of the modem and/or router you have?

Unless you're in an MDU (condo or apartment) and have a VDSL connection, you don't have a modem.

Describing it as a 4x4 black box is not helpful.
