Access to another building required??!!

Installation of IFOS service to our entire building is being held up indefinitely because Verizon installed something in a back yard 3 doors away. They have run the fibre from that location to our building already, but apparently forgot to do something, because now they need access to that building again.

Verizon is demanding that WE get THEM access to this other building, even thought nobody in our building knows anybody in that one, and only Verizon has contact information for the responsible party in that building. I have gone over several times and rung all the bells, with no answer.

I have spoken to the FIOS service reps on several occasions, and they keep telling me there's nothing they can do.

This seems downright irresponsible to me. And a loss of business for Verizon as well.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
