BLOCK Wi-Fi Password in FIOS TV MY NETWORK

There is a new feature in your current image for your DVRs to show "MY NETWORK INFO" and that displays both the SSID and Password for my Wi-Fi router. Since I have a very secure WPA2 password, I do not want anyone in my house to be able to determine my password with a few clicks. How can I HIDE that password. I have tried to STOP broadcasting my credentials via my ROUTER software but your DVR still can read it on-screen.

This new feature might be good for many people who have no idea of how to find their Wi-Fi credentials; however, for me, it compromise's my entire network security.

There is no way to disable this showing of this information. Many have complained to Verizon about it. The suggestions are that it be protected by a PIN so that it isn't readily visible.

I noticed you addressed "...your current image...," FYI this is a peer-to-peer forum and I am not associated with Verizon, I am just a peer. You might add your concern to Verizon's ideas exchange. Just mentioning it here will simply be a way to vent your displeasure, not necessarily a bad thing.

I specifically posted that there was already a topic in the Idea Exchange and asked that any and all people who are concerned about this security flaw vote at the Idea Exchange topic I linked above.

ok, in my fios tv menu, i can pin protect my wifi credentials, and i must input my parental control pin to view them on tv.......going to settings , HOWEVER I F I GO TO THE IN-HOME AGENT 1.01 ON FIOS STB MENU, THEN VIEW WIFI CREDENTIALS, I do NOT HAVE TO ENTER PIN...THE SECURITY IS BYPASSED!
