Unable to connect to router

When I enter 192.168.1.1 to sign into my router to change settings, the password field is bugged. The username enters correctly, but the password goes ape **bleep**. No matter what key I enter, 3 or 4 more keys follow. If I try to delete one, multiple delete, no matter what combination I try.

Ignore the extras characters, they are a security measure. Just type your password and press enter.
