There are no high ping times in that trace route. What is happening with your wife's computer?
Something's strange with that tracert. The 1st step should be to the OP's router...probably 192.168.1.1, and should be <1 ms.
download, install & run the inhome agent and use the wifi fix tool. www.verizon.com/connect
should clear that up
Might be time to factory reset the router. That's a very unusual traceroute. Firewalls can cause similar behavior in traceroutes, but I'm failing to see where the latency would be.
