fios router

we have our fios router installed in the basement; now the problem is there is no range or signal in the top floors of the house; any suggestions on how i can increase the range?

Just relocate the router to a working coaxial jack upstairs and preferably by a bunch of devices that you can wire up. Best solution to this over trying to boost the signal AND make it travel upwards.

i forgot to add i use roku to stream tv channels to the tv downstairs; and also i have a fixed desktop downstairs and also where my room is in the attic; i do have a fios tv in my remove... is there anything that i can buy to extend internet also if any using the router to its full speed... i tested the wifi speed right by the router it was 14mbps download and about 4 upload but in my room in the attic the speeds are; 0.41 download and literally no upload.

It sounds to me like your best bet will be a second router / wifi adapter upstairs. If you have coax already running to upstairs you can use an ECB2200 MoCA adapter upstairs to feed the second router or wifi adapter.

Are you using the n-router or which one?
