Connection Speed Horrible

My connection speed is horrible. Speedtest has me at 1.68 MBPS down and 6.05 up. I usually have in the 40 down and 30 up range (which ironically verizon's site says I have). Everything is slow, games, websites, speedtests. I've reset the modem 3 times now and reboot the PC as well. I had a similar occurrence a few days ago, but it was late at night and everything was fine when I got up the next morning.

Is your PC connected to your router via Ethernet cable or wifi?

Are you saying that you're getting different results if you run the Verizon speed test and speedtest.net?
