You will get a certificate by snail mail within a couple of weeks of having service.
You can take that to any Verizon Wireless store to use it for the free tablet or $200 off any other tablet with a new wireless plan.
Even if you currently have Verizon Wireless for a cell phone you still need to open a plan or add it to an exisiting account for the tablet. You can't just walk in with the certificate and walk out with a free tablet.
