We had a storm last night.
A major crack of lighting and boom of thunder. It really felt like it was right outside our home.
The TV screen froze. (fios) We tried changing channels...nothing. The Set Top Boxes still show the time and the screen on the TV's (all of our TVs) can show you the various technical down issues...but you can't get "into the channels." So basically...you cant watch tv.
Computer lines work, land line phones work. (all verizon)
We tried calling Verizon tech people and they feel they have to send a tech to us...in six days!
Add Hurricane Arthur to that and we probably will be without TV for weeks.
- Can lightning fry the TV lines and NOT the computer and telephone lines?
- Other suggestions as to something we can do before next WEdnesday?
- Anything we can suggest to the Verizon on line and phone tech helpers?
Thank you and happy Independence day!:
