I have a MI424WR
Any suggestions?
As you have discovered, WPS is not supported by Verizon. You will have to do it the old fashion way. Enter the values by hand.

And WPS is flawed.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Protected_Setup and look where it says Security.

WPS router pin method is flawed. None of the articles I have read mentioned it also breaking the push button method of WPS.
The Homeland security doc is AT http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/723755
It has links to a number of vendors and theire reponses. Some have disabled router pin or tell you how to do so. E.g. for the Netgear I happen to use http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/19824/kw/disable%20wps
Since Verizon never implemented WPS on the Actiontec's its not a problem for them.
