Here it is early Sunday evening and the VOD feature does not work again. It seems to be the worst on Sundays and Mondays after midnight.
Although I am resigned to the fact that my VOD will not work at least one day out of the week (if I am lucky it is not more than one day), it is now happening between 7PM-midnight.
I have already returned a set top box and the return process was a fiasco and nothing but aggravation. The issue is not the box; the issue is when Verizon schedules maintenance work whick is WEEKLY/WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT.
I am not wasting my time doing the hokey-pokey disconnect-reboot dance. I am sick of spending time on the phone, participating in the utterly usless "chat", as well as sending emails to customer service (which I admit can be hysterical since English is not the first language of the people responding; they simply string together stock phrases).
I need to ring in the new year with a new provider.
