How to Report Potential damage to phone lines

How do you report a tree hanging on a phone line ?

There does not seem to be any way to report a potential damage problem either by phone or on the website.

This is stupid. How can customers help keep the phone service in good shape if we can't report tree problems to Verizon.

Are we supposed to wait for the service to break then report the problem? But Oh now the phone is down so how do we report that ?

Case in point in Maryland right now there is a large tree branch hanging on the phone lines at the junction of Kerger Road and Montgomery Road Route 103, How long will the phone lines hold up ?

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board. you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information.

To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
