What is the difference between the data plans that are only $10 a month and a data plan that is $50 a month? What is the data usage?
The $9.99/month plan has an allowance of 25MB, but it is only available with select phones (most of which have been discontinued) that were classified as 3GMM when they were available directly through Verizon.
The $15/month includes 150MB
$29.99/month will get you unlimited usage on your phone. For an additional $20/month, you can add 2GB of tethering, which allows you to connect your laptop, iPad or other WiFi device to your phone so you can surf from that device on your phone's connection.
The $45/month plan includes unlimited data plus access to corporate e-mail servers. The IT department at your workplace can tell you if you need this plan. You can also add the 2GB tethering option to this plan.
How about a shared family data plan Verizon???

This is not offered, unless you can track down the number that SOME subs received and see if they will sign you up. It is a crapshoot as to whether you will get it.
Search of the forums, you will find it.
